The Artists Behind the Cross Stitch Designs

Well, I was going to start this with the “Painter of Light” Thomas Kinkade.  However, after reviewing his website, I decided that I would recommend that you visit his website at www.thomaskinkade.com to learn more about the designer and view many of his wonderful works of art.  Thomas Kinkade has allowed many of his beautiful paintings to be licensed to be converted into cross stitch patterns and designs.  I for one will thoroughly enjoy stitching his embellished cross stitch designs and giving it to my mother, who is a big fan of Thomas Kinkade paintings, for Christmas this year.

The Personal Touch for Cross-Stitch Gifts.

Christmas is less than a few months away; and if some of you out there are like me, you are already trying to decide what gift to give to your loved ones this year. Fortunately, I won’t be having too hard a time this year. This year I am making cross stich gifts for my family and friends. Anyone can go out and buy a gift, but just think how much more cherished your gift would be when your family can tell how much time and TRUE thought you gave to each of their gifts. If your family is like mine, they really appreciate and cherish their individual cross stitch gifts even more. Each time they look at them they realize how much time and love was spent making each gift. I can just hear people out there saying “but I don’t have that kind of time.” To that I can only respond, “STOP and THINK, it is human nature to MAKE THE TIME for the things we REALLY CARE ABOUT.” Not to mention the fact that cross stitching is really fun. Cross stitching is like painting; however instead of using paints and canvas, the cross stitcher uses different colors of thread and material. If yall agree or disagree write and let me know what you think.
